This Trek 1.1 is the perfect machine for someone who wants to get into cycling as a sport. The 7005 aluminium frame and carbon fork help this extra small bike well below 10kgs. If you are in the market for your first road bike, a dependable winter bike, or just something for epic sportives that won't break the bank, the Trek 1.1 is a great option. Hinting at this versatility is the inclusion of eyelets on the stays and forks, to aid the fitting of mudguards.
The bike is kitted out with Shimano Sora 9x2 speed with integrated shifters, dual-pivot brakes and smooth-spinning Bontrager hubs and rims. FSA Vero crank 50/34, 8-speed cassette, Cane Creek Ahead semi-integrated headset, Bontrager saddle pen, 31.8 handlebars and Bontrager saddle. Available with flat or SPD SL pedals.

Great for busy feet

My five-year-old daughter loves these Skechers slip-ins—and she is not easy on her shoes! You can see in the photo, she’s already put plenty of miles on them. They’ve been through the washing machine at least twice and still look great—the bright colors are a big hit with her and they hold up well in the wash.
One of the elastic bands on top did come loose, but I was able to fix it quickly with a dab of superglue. She slips them on and off all by herself, which is perfect as we’re still learning to tie laces. All in all, a great purchase for the price—especially since kids grow so fast and put their shoes through a lot!
